Scootin' Boots Dance Hall isn't just another place to two-step—it's a vibrant hub where country music and dance enthusiasts come alive. Since 2016, we've been the go-to spot in Mesa, AZ, for those looking to learn, practice, and show off their country dance moves. Our family-owned venue offers an inviting, alcohol-free environment that's perfect for dancers 18 and up (minors are welcome if accompanied by an adult). Plenty of parking!
At Creative Dance Collective, we believe that dance is not just about learning steps, but about self-expression, creativity, and personal growth. Shoes
Suede-soled dance shoes are the standard. Look for low heels with a flexible sole. Popular brands include Very Fine, Ray Rose, and Freed of London. Budget pick: any suede-soled Latin shoe. Tom's slip-ons work very well too, as well as adding suede to a shoe of your choice.
Floor Prep
Most Phoenix venues have hardwood or tile. Bring a sole brush to keep your suede clean. Avoid dancing on rubber-soled shoes — your knees will thank you.
Where to Shop
Locally, Dee's Dancewear is great, and Nordstrom Rack and Ross will occasionally have excellent footwear options. Discount Dance Supply and Dance Naturals carry WCS-appropriate shoes online. Also check with instructors — some carry inventory or can point you to current deals.
