Nivens' birthday being this month, we could hardly deny his request to celebrate with our third annual "All Aloha J&J" and Hawaiian themed Unplugged! We are delighted to be able to team up again with our friends at 916 Swing and the Aloha Open (https://www.alohaopenwcs.com/) and have the most awesome tournament style J&J that has been an absolute blast each time! And of course, an opportunity for our Novice, Intermediate and Advanced dancers to win passes to the Aloha Open! Prizes for the All-Aloha contest ($5 entry fee): 1st - Aloha Open passes 2nd - White Rabbit West Coast passes 3rd - White Rabbit: Unplugged passes The entire night is Hawaiian themed, which means dress in your best island/luautfit, and feel free to bring a Hawaiian snack to share (low-key Luau)! 8pm: All-Aloha Contest 9pm: White Rabbit Aloha Party $5 (Contest) Cash/Zelle preferred Zelle: Sarah Hightower Remember: - If it glows it won't say "no" - White Rabbit is a safe space for all - No unsolicited feedback on the social floor Also, per the CDC liquor license, no outside alcohol is permitted. Follow the white rabbit. Nivens is extra excited this month! Not only does Unplugged fall directly upon the equinox (making it perfect to celebrate the start of Spring! Nivens' favorite time of year, of course), but we get to host one of AZ's most promising and magnetic young stars on the circuit: WSDC All-Star Justin Kereszturi! Justin is incredibly talented, and his meteoric rise to All-Star level is testament to his dedication and commitment to the craft of West Coast Swing. 8pm: "Linear Vs Rotational" w/Justin Kereszturi (All levels) Explore the difference between linear and rotational movement within west coast swing.
